The difference between camping when you're twelve versus camping when you're twenty-three is vast. Yes, camping is still boatloads of fun but as my achy body reminded me, I romanticized the whole sleeping-on-the-ground part.

aw, i should have given you a camping pad... however, no matter what it's easy to romanticize all aspects of the waking up and coming and home rested part of camping...
OMG, we never got around to camping! And I am so upset!! Though, instead of sleeping on the ground, didn't we plan on inflating your ginormo air mattress in my truckbed?! :)
